Pacific Coast Highway

The first leg of my trip begins traveling down the Pacific Coast, from Oregon down to San Francisco. Most of the first two days were rainy, so I didn’t get to stop as many places as I would have liked. I stopped in the town of Seaside, OR for the first night, staying in a nice little hostel on the river. Starting early the next morning, I drove down the coast and through the Redwood forest. I decided against my original plan of camping in the Sequoias when I found my campsite entirely made of mud. Instead, I found a hostel in Eureka, CA. The next morning was much nicer, raining on and off, but in general sunny, as I made my way down the coast of Highway 1 and 101 to SF.
